Men’s Ministry

Our mission is to see men gathering together under the authority of Jesus Christ for the purpose of pursuing a closer relationship with Him, our wives, our families, our church, and to be a Godly influence within the community around us.

In order to facilitate that mission we study God’s word together, we pray together, we have fun together, and we serve together. We meet every Saturday morning at 7:30 AM for an hour of fellowship. We meet in the church basement conference room. We enjoy some coffee and donuts, and we study and pray together. We are currently using John Greening’s study guide, “Real Men Are Godly.” Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

As men we also have fun together. We take road trips to Cabela’s, Benezette, PA for elk watching and Pittsburgh for conferences. There are golf outings, skeet shooting, canoe trips, and fishing trips just to name a few activities.

We are actively involved in the Franklin community as well doing numerous service projects. We have been known to build a handicap ramp or two and have moved more than one family. We don’t work for any recognition for ourselves, we do it all for God’s glory and the chance to work side by side with other men.
